Casting in
Dragon's Dogma really required a degree of strategy and care to pull of successfully not found in other console RPGs. Powerful spells took time to spin up, and others were very easy to fire off wildly without doing any damage. Once you nailed down your technique and learned when to use them, however, you really could appreciate how powerful the caster classes were in
Dragon's Dogma.
In
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, the Sorcerer gets to wield a number of powerful high-level spells, and this new trailer shows them in action. If you can pull yourself away from your cauldrons of boiling...stuff...and dusty old tomes filled with incantations written in dead languages, maybe you'll find a way to scratch that sorcerer itch of yours without kidnapping yet another one of your neighbors' cats.
