I don't think videogames get more steampunk than Dishonored
. Of course, it's not just steampunk, it's also the supernatural that looks to set Dishonored
apart from other Bioshock
-style "thinky" first person action games.
The following two videos show two different approaches to a mission called The Golden Cat
that requires you to assassinate two corrupt aristocrats ("Corrupt aristocrats" is probably a bit redundant in videogame land, donchathink?).
Whatever approach you prefer, Dishonored
is shaping up to be an exciting take on both stealth assassination games and first person action games. It comes out on October 9 in North America and October 12 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.
