Remember how Immersion was suing everyone for violating their patents on rumble in their controllers? Well it looks like the tables have turned as Microsoft is now
suing Immersion for violating the terms of their deal. I don't know if this has anything to do with the deal that Immersion recently signed with Sony or not but there's still something nice about seeing Immersion finally getting their come-uppance.
The real irony would be if Microsoft won the suit and Immersion would be forced to pay damagaes using the money they received from Sony last year. Oh well, easy come, easy go.
Update: Ars Technia has the
scoop that Microsoft is owed some $15 million dollars from Immersion settling with Sony.
