Clash 'n Slash: Worlds Away has been released this week. Its an old-school casual arcade space shooter which pits you against invading alien hordes. And, supplies you with various weaponry and upgrades to get the job done. It's pitching itself as a family type game with several levels of difficulty ranging from easy to hardcore. I assume its to insure that little kids don't throw frusturated temper tantrums when trying to play the same difficulty as their parents. Screaming is not exactly family fun.
