LOS ANGELES â€“ May 10, 2005 â€“ CyberathleteÂ® Professional League (CPL)â€™s Dallas‑based annual game tournament and LAN party will award $200,000 in cash prizes to top skilled gamers. The tournament will also be the last official opportunity in America to advance in the $1,000,000 CPL World Tour. In addition to the official videogame competitions, the event will feature endless unofficial tournaments and grudge matches for a wide spectrum of games. The event will take place Wednesday, July 6 through Sunday, July 10, 2005 at the new Gaylord Texan Resort, in Grapevine, Texas.
