Google your way to concert tickets courtsey of Activision

by: Nathan -
More On: Guitar Hero 5
Normally there is a list of songs/bands released ahead of time for an up and coming music rhythm game but Activision  is doing something a little bit different for Guitar Hero V; an online scavenger hunt. Yes it is a bit of work to find out what songs/bands will be in (one of) the next guitar hero game(s) but in true popular music radio station form Activision is giving out free concert tickets to the winners of the sweepstakes. Well that's actually the bad news, that this is a sweepstakes and your not getting free tickets just for answering a question but with the grand prize being "... 5 concert tickets to 5 concerts in a venue of [the winner’s] choice located in [a] major metropolitan concert venues near his/her home town. Approximate total retail value: $4,500.00." well then wow hoo.

Actually now that I think about this is exactly like a radio station giveaway and what's this near his/her home town BS? Who decides what's "near" my home town? What if the only performer that comes to my town is Miley Cyrus?

My distaste for the wording of all legal documents aside the Sweepstakes is running from May 26th-June 25th with all the questions to fill out the sweepstakes form being revealed day by day until May 30th and if your brave enough to risk the possibility of getting free concert tickets to Hanna Montana you can ENTER HERE .
