Get Reshiram and Zekrom for Pokemon Black and White

by: Russell -
More On: Pokemon Black and White
Beginning March 10th, gamers who own Pokemon Black or Pokemon White can get one of two Legendary Pokemon: Reshiram for Pokemon White and Zekrom for Pokemon Black.  It appears that all you have to do is just have access to the Nintendo Wi-fi connection, as I'm not seeing anything about taking the game to a local participating retailer like Gamestop or anything.  You can also use the legendary Pokemon you receive to unlock exclusive content at the Pokemon Global Link (www.pokemon.com/pgl) and get a C-Gear skin that matches the Pokemon you receive.

Now I recall when I got the three legendary dogs (Entei, Raikou, and Suicune) a while back that they were level 50 or so and had some nice moves.  Reshiram and Zekrom on the other hand are level 100.  Yes, level 100.  For more info on how to obtain the legendary Pokemon and what all moves and such come with them, check out the official web site for the event.  Keep in mind that the event runs through April 8th.  Time for me to break out my copy of Pokemon Black and dust it off.

RESHIRAM AND ZEKROM GET STAR TREATMENT AS SPECIAL CHARACTER DISTRIBUTION

Get One of Two Legendary Pokémon to Unlock Brand-New Content in the Pokémon Dream World

BELLEVUE, WA — March 6th, 2012 — The Pokémon Company International is rolling out the red carpet for a very special character distribution event of legendary proportions. Beginning March 10th, Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version video game players can get either Legendary Pokémon Reshiram if they own Pokémon White Version or Legendary Pokémon Zekrom if they own Pokémon Black Version! Take advantage of this character distribution opportunity via Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection service through April 8th, and you can have Reshiram and Zekrom for your Pokémon collection without trading to get them.

Adding to the excitement of this character distribution, Pokémon players can use their new Reshiram or Zekrom to unlock exclusive content at the Pokémon Global Link (www.pokemon.com/pgl) and get a C-Gear skin matching the Pokémon they received. Tuck in Reshiram or Zekrom and explore a special home in the Pokémon Dream World that is inspired by the movies Pokémon the Movie: Black—Victini and Reshiram and Pokémon the Movie: White—Victini and Zekrom. If you have yet to catch the movies starring these Legendary Pokémon, or you would like to relive the adventures, a 2-disc DVD release of the feature-length films arrives April 3rd in stores nationwide.

Obtaining the C-Gear skin and visiting the special movie home is only possible if you receive Reshiram or Zekrom during the character distribution event happening March 10th through April 8th.
