G4 has announced that they selected Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as the best game of E3 2007.  I can't say I disagree with them as the game had one of the best showings at the show but you have to wonder about a game that was only playable by the developers.

(Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ was awarded “Best Game of E3 2007” and “Best Xbox 360 Game of E3 2007” honors from G4 Television, the last word on gaming, technology, animation, interactivity and internet culture for males 18-34.   Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was among several highly anticipated games showcased at the E3 Business and Media Summit, the video game industry’s annual trade show, which was held in Santa Monica, California on July 11 – 13.
