If you're a fan of EA's NCAA Football series now you have the chance to get your favorite team on the cover art for the 2013 edition. You can head over to the official Facebook page and cast your vote for your preferred college football team. If you want to go all-out, EA encourages truly rabid fans to make impassioned tweets, post campus photos and even Youtube videos of college and team traditions which will all count towards your team getting that coveted cover. The voting closes on December 31st, so fans might want to get their pride posts and votes in sooner than later, but I personally can't shake the feeling that EA is using each team's fanbase as free marketing. Here's a trailer in the meantime.

Fanhood extends beyond voting, and true fans are encouraged to come up with creative ways to represent their team. Impassioned tweets using the hashtag #NCAACoverVote, Instagram photos of campus landmarks, YouTube videos of university traditions and more will all count toward a school’s chances to advance to the next round. In short, fans are encouraged to go all in and represent the team they root for every Saturday.
All next week EA SPORTS will be featuring specific conferences, teams, traditions and more on Facebook and Twitter in an effort to engage fans and kick-start voting.
