Everyone loves dragons, Skyrim ships 10 million copies

ZeniMax Media Inc. and Bethesda Softworks have announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has shipped 10 million copies since its release on November 11. Other impressive statistics include an approximate $650 million in retail sales, the PC version outselling every other PC game by a factor of over three to one, and it became the fastest selling title in the history of Steam. Skyrim has already been the receiver of numerous game of the year awards and just recently won the title at the 2011 Video Game Awards.
 
Now if you excuse me, I need to slay more dragons and finish other important Dragonborn tasks. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The PC version of Skyrim in North America outsold all other PC games by a factor of over three to one in the month of its release.
