It looks like Electronic Arts has
increased their ownership of Ubisoft from 20% to 25%. This isn't much of a surprise as EA has indicated in the past that they intended to increase their position in Ubisoft. It's a good financial move by EA as Ubisoft had a decent showing at E3 this year.
As far as the game industry goes it is a bit of a concern as EA goes ahead and buys out Ubisoft they would own an even bigger share of the marketplace and it's never really a good thing when one company owns that much marketshare.
