It looks like Electronic Arts, MTV, and Harmonix had a few too many drinks and then had some kind of weird menage-trois at GDC this week as they announced this week that they are working on a new, unnamed title. Harmonix (the folks behind the Guitar Hero series). Details on the game will be released at a later date when they sober up and figure out exactly what they agreed to.

San Francisco, Calif. – March 7, 2007 – At an invite-only press event last night during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, EA, the world’s leading interactive entertainment company, MTV: Music Television, the world's most valuable media brand and Harmonix, creators of the Guitar Hero series announced a strategic partnership for an upcoming title, the details of which will be revealed at a later date.
Under the deal, MTV’s Harmonix will develop an all-new title and EA Partners will oversee worldwide sales, marketing and distribution.
