E3 2012: Nintendo adds support for a second Wii U gamepad

Despite an announcement stating the contrary last year, Nintendo has confirmed that the Wii U console will in fact support up to 2 Wii U Gamepads. Many gamers, myself included, were concerned when Nintendo revealed the new interface last year and stated that only 1 would be supported per console.

The final design of the Gamepad has also been finalized and is being shown at the show in its retail form.
