E3 2012: Nike brings the future of fitness to the Xbox 360

Microsoft and Nike have teamed up to bring the Nike+ community to the Xbox 360. The new partnership will bring the world of fitness to the Xbox 360 in the form of Nike+ Kinect Training.

Utilizing the Kinect peripheral, Nike+ Kinect Training will assess and train users through a variety of fitness routines. The system will evaluate and monitor your fitness. Created by a large staff of the world’s best trainers and coaches at Nike, the software will deliver customized workouts and training routines based on both your needs and abilities. The system will remain in contact with you even when the system is off through integration with social applications and cellular technology (SMS).
