Moving just your feet isn’t going to cut it in Konami’s next version of Dance Dance Revolution. The new version of the game, entitled just Dance Dance Revolution, will be released on the Nintendo Wii this coming fall.

The new game will boast new modes and options not previously available in the series. The game is being developed on the Wii in order to incorporate the motion control schemes of the Wiimote and get the entire body moving with the music. Not only will players be required to match the foot steps of each song, but the Wiimote must now be used to perform gestures and hand moves with the music.

Other modes being designed for the game will make use of not only the DDR dance pad, Wiimote, and nunchuk, but also the Wii Balance board. There will also be new multuiplayer modes that will allow up to 4 people to enjoy the game.
