Disney Sing It heads to HSM 3: Senior Prom

Disney Interactive Studios announced late last week that Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year is coming to a platform near you. The game will focus on the HSM 3 soundtrack and include 10 songs from HSM 3, but will also have an additional 15 songs from the first two movies. It will support up to eight players, have both single and multiplayer modes and allow for practice of any vocals giving players fits. the game is scheduled for a February 17th release on the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Nintendo Wii and will be sold as a standalone product and include one Logitech microphone. No pricing was announced.

New Karaoke Game Features 25 Songs From All Three “High School Musical” Films


BURBANK, Calif. – (January 15, 2009) – Disney Interactive Studios today announced “Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” the only karaoke-based video game that allows players to perform 10 memorable songs from the film “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” as well as selected songs from the first two “High School Musical” movies. Players can perform with their friends or sing solo with the stars.

“Whether you are new to the scene or have been following the excitement at East High from day one, ‘Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year’ will have you ready to get up and join the fun from the very first note,” said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. “Packed with 25 songs from all three ‘High School Musical’ films, this is the must-have video game for all true fans.”

“Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year” allows fans to sing along to some of their favorite High School Musical videos in teams of up to eight players. Players select any song and difficulty level within the track list to sing in their very own musical performance. The game features single and multiplayer modes and lets players practice tricky elements of singing in different vocal exercises.

“Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year” for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the Wii™ home video game console is scheduled for release on February 17, 2009. Developed by Zoë Mode, all titles have an Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rating of E for Everyone. The game will be sold as a standalone or bundled with one Logitech microphone for all systems.
