Daft Punk has been rumored to be coming to DJ Hero since the game was announced but Activision made it official today with news that the duo will be providing these eleven songs for the game:
  • Daft Punk “Around the World” vs. Young MC “Bust A Move”
  • Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. NASA “Strange Enough ft. Karen O, ODB and Fatlip”
  • Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. Queen “Another One Bites the Dust”
  • Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Hashim “Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)” – Produced and mixed by The Scratch Perverts
  • Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Queen “We Will Rock You”
  • Daft Punk “Short Circuit” vs. Boogie Down Productions “Jack Of Spades”
  • Daft Punk “Technologic” vs. Gary Numan “Cars”
  • Daft Punk “Television Rules The Nation” vs. No Doubt “Hella Good”
I'm still interested in seeing how the controller/music combination will work as I've seen a few reports online that the game is super-easy to play while other outlets have said the controls are incredibly difficult.  I guess we'll find out when the game ships at the end of October.
