In a move that is neither unprecedented nor unexpected the folks at 2K have announced a special collectible edition of Civilization V
. For $99.99 the Civilization V Special Edition
includes five metal figurines, an art book, a behind the scenes DVD, and the soundtrack from the game.
Personally I'm waiting for the super special, ultra limited edition which actually includes Sid Meier with the game. How much would you pay for that? Sure you'd have to provide Sid with food, shelter, and clothing but how cool would it be to have a pioneer of the PC gaming industry included with the game? We'll ask the folks at 2K Games and see if we can make this happen.
