More On: Call of Duty: Ghosts
I will admit that I am one of those gamers that buys Call of Duty every year. The first Call of Duty game I played was Modern Warfare 2, and from that point on, I was hooked. Black Ops 2 however changed all that as it had to be my least favorite Call of Duty game since I started playing them.

I truly feel like Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 were great multiplayer games that added a bunch of new content to warrant buying it again. I was happy with those purchases. Black Ops 2 I was not. To me, It was a significant step down from Modern Warfare 3 in terms of both content and the game itself. The online lag problems were terrible, the game modes weren't as fun and I absolutely loathed the pick 10 system. I felt like no matter how long I played, I just could not stick to a certain loadout that I enjoyed. I quickly got bored of this game and haven't played it months.

Up until recently I had given Call of Duty: Ghosts a pass thinking I was done with the series. Then the multiplayer reveal happened and I got excited once again. It reminded me why I loved the series in the first place. It looks like its going to be the crazy Modern Warfare style multiplayer that I loved and Modern Warfare 3 was my favorite so far.

Now, rambling aside, Activision has released the official trailer for Squads Mode in Call of Duty: Ghosts and once again, I feel myself being sucked in because this looks incredibly fun. In Squads, players create a team of up to ten different soldiers, each with their own unique avatar, load out, and earn XP to rank them up. Players can then watch their entire squad fight together in both online and offline matches.

The new Squads Mode includes a variety of brand new game modes to Call of Duty including "WarGame" and pits you with either your friends or your AI controlled squad members as you battle it out with another AI controlled team. Squad Assault pits you and five of your friends can challenge the squads of offline players. When you are offline, other players can challenge your squad as well and can earn you XP bonuses that carry over into the normal multiplayer while you are away.

I could just ramble on all day, but I can show you better than I can tell you. Check out the official trailer below!
