Castlevania DLC for 360 still not available

More On: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Konami’s first DLC pack for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was scheduled to launch last week for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. March 30, the release date came and went, and as of this moment, PS3 players are the only ones enjoying the new pack.

Konami made a last minute announcement on their Facebook page that the 360 version of Reverie was delayed at the last minute due to a last minute issue. The delay was supposed to have been fixed shortly but nearly a week later it still remains M.I.A. At this point, I think that we are looking at more than just a slight delay as the latest post regarding the subject mentions work being done to deliver a “certain level of polish”. What sort of major issue could have arisen at the last minute?

The official statement released reads:

“Unfortunately, the “Reverie” DLC for 360 has been delayed due to a last minute issue which we hope to have fixed shortly. We understand that this news may frustrate you but please know we are working with Microsoft to resolve it as quickly as possible and give you the level of polish you deserve. We will update you as soon as a release date has been finalized and appreciate your continued patience.

Our apologies again for the delay and thank you for your continued support of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.”

Any thoughts on just what could be holding this pack back nearly a week now?
