Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 declares more zombie slaying due in June

by: Randy -
World at WarWith a June launch date, the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 trails Map Pack 1 by three months, more or less.  And since one good turn deserves another, Map Pack 2 will feature another zombie co-op map:  "Shi No Numa" (Zombie Swamp).  Adding to the presence of Imperial zombies are a lovely cocktail of traps, flaming Hell Hounds, Perk machines, and the spankin' new Wunderwavve DG-2.

The other three maps are more standardized multiplayer fare:  "Banzai" (fighting for control over a tall river bridge deep in enemy territory), "Corrosion" (showdown in a Russian train yard), and "Sub Pens (close-quarters combat in a bombed-out sub base).

"Our community has been outstanding and has driven support for Map Pack 1, as well as demand for additional downloadable content like Map Pack 2," stated Treyarch rather obviously.

Overachievers have ten new 360 Achievements and PS3 Trophies for the map-packed journey ahead.
