It looks like the long road to store shelves is almost over for Double Fine's
Brutal Legend as EA has
announced that the game will be released October 16th. The game was a victim of the Activision/Sierra Vivendi merger when Activision decided to pass on producing the title because of the creative risk of the game as well as the fact that the game couldn't be turned into a yearly franchise. EA then picked up the title to help ensure that gamers will get to experience yet another adventure with Tim Schafer's sense of humor.
