Japanese consoles are only a few months away from being blessed with Arc System Works’ new fighter, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.
The trailer is likely the opening cinematic from the upcoming game which will launch in Japan this coming July. A North American release for the title has yet to be announced, but many believe that its announcement is simply a formality and the game will hit our shores later this year.
The high energy trailer gives glimpses of all of the returning characters and shows the heavy anime influence in the look and feel of the game. Be it Capcom, SNK, or Arc Systems Works… these companies are intent on making sure that 2D doesn’t die. These sprites are gorgeous and Continuum Shift
