PlayStation Plus users are about to receive a couple of major beta programs for some major upcoming games. Sony has announced, via the
Official Playstation Blog, the launch dates for the beta multiplayer beta programs for both
Resistance 3 and
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
Beginning with next week’s PlayStation Store update, PS+ users will be able to download and participate in a multiplayer test of Resistance 3. The beta release will allow players to experience two of the maps from the upcoming game: Seaside of Glamorgan, Wales and Trainyard in Bogota, Columbia.
Then, with the September 3 update, PS+ users will be able to download the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations multiplayer beta, 2 months before the game’s retail release. This beta will include 3 maps, 9 different characters, and 4 different gameplay modes.
