There are a lot of independent developers in the Boston area. Not as many as before "Bloody Sock" Schilling moved his 38 Studios
out of town for a big tax break, but still some good shops doing good work. One of those indie houses, Fire Hose Games
, is working out the kinks in their Tetris style puzzle fighter Slam Bolt Scrappers
. We saw this title at PAX East 2010
, and had fun playing it on the show floor.
I can't tell you anything (yet) about what I saw of the game, but I can tell you I had fun playing it, and it's shaping up nicely. Look for more information sometime in the first half of 2011.
