Behind the scenes with NCAA Football 12 and EA Sports

by: Sean Cahill -
More On: NCAA Football 12
While this is a bit late, you can still view the documentaries three more times.  EA Sports and ESPN have teamed up to a behind the scenes look at the creation of this year's NCAA Football 12, which hit stores just on Tuesday.  NCAA Football has always been a title that I look forward to every year, and with the additions and changes that have been made for this year's title, I am quite interested to watch this in the future.  It seems to mostly focus on teaming up with the people at Tiburon in Orlando to see just how development moved along for the title this year.  I look forward to watching it as well as continuing on with this new title.
“THE MAKING OF NCAA FOOTBALL 12 PRESENTED BY COKE ZERO”
PREMIERES TODAY ON ESPNU

Fans interested in a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of NCAA Football 12 can tune into ESPNU beginning today, July 14th, at 7:00pm EDT for “The Making of EA SPORTS NCAA Football 12 Presented by Coke Zero”.  Produced by Greenpoint Pictures, Inc., the four part documentary series chronicles the process of making the award-winning game from start to finish.

Each show features the day-to-day work of several members of the NCAA Football 12 team, including the executive producer, creative director, art director and product marketing manager, along with several other designers and producers.  The series not only takes viewers inside EA’s “Tiburon” studio in Orlando, Florida, but also follows the development and marketing teams to events in cities around the nation.

In addition, cameras follow Heisman trophy winner and NCAA Football 12 cover athlete, Mark Ingram, to ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut for the highly anticipated reveal of the fan-voted cover.  The celebration continues with Ingram in Manhattan at the annual NCAA Football Draft Night Premiere event just two days prior to the NFL Draft.  Viewers will also go on a visit to Georgia Tech where the NCAA Football 12 development team meets with the Yellow Jackets’ head coach, Paul Johnson, to get his take on how Georgia Tech’s playbook and gameplay are shaping up in NCAA Football 12.

“The Making of NCAA Football 12 Presented by Coke Zero” provides college football fans and gamers with a truly unprecedented look at what it takes for the dedicated team at Tiburon to bring the sights and sounds of college football to the franchise’s devoted fan base.
