Those lucky Europeans. BLAZE is always giving them retro game consoles and goodies to spend their hard-earned Euros and Pounds Sterling on. Their latest product, the Arcade Nano developed by AtGames, packs ten classic games onto a freakin keychain. As long as there's a tv with AV inputs around, you can plug in and play Sonic, Alex Kidd and a handful of other 16-bit classics. Seems like the perfect gift for the European gamer in your life.

The Arcade Nano

with 5 fully licensed Classic Sega Megadrive games built in including Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Spinball, Sonic 3D Blast, Alex Kidd, and 5 bonus non-Sega games.

AtGames and BLAZE announce the release of the Arcade Nano console developed by AtGames Digital Media, including the SEGA-licensed original classic Sonic the Hedgehog

London, UK – 14/7/2011
Blaze are delighted to be appointed the exclusive, official distributor of AtGames' Sega-licensed video game consoles within the UK, Australia, and selected countries in the European Union.

Under the distribution appointment, BLAZE will release the Arcade Nano, the perfect affordable gift that fits in your pocket or on your keychain, but also connects to your TV!

Sonic the Hedgehog is still one of the most iconic video gaming characters of all time. The original Sonic the Hedgehog game was a revolution in video gaming in 1991, as Sonic defined new boundaries in high-speed platform gaming.

"We are delighted to be continuing our successful relationship with AtGames” says Jason Cooper, Chairman at Blaze. "The Arcade Nano brings a gaming legend to life in a console that is affordable and ideal for all the family. The Arcade Nano is a welcome addition to the range of Sega retro consoles, and kids will be able to experience genuine retro gaming at its best, with the original Sonic the Hedgehog games on a large screen.”

The Arcade Nano plug and play simply plugs directly into your TV, and only requires one AAA battery for hours of genuine retro gaming.

The Arcade Nano has an 8 directional joystick, and your traditional A, B and C buttons, whilst there is also an additional X button for the 5 bonus non-Sega 16-bit games.

The Arcade Nano really is the smallest Sega console in the world, and is only slightly larger than a matchbox, but its ability to bring the original Sega Megadrive to today’s large screen TV’s is a sight to behold.

The Arcade Nano’s best features, though, are the featured games. With Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Spinball, Sonic 3D Blast, and Sega’s first official mascot, Alex Kidd, these official licensed titles play as well now as they did then, all for a fraction of the price of a single video game.

The Arcade Nano will be available in September 2011 in all good video games stores for the low price of £14.99.

Product Features:
• 5 Sega licensed Sega Megadrive games pre-loaded, plus 5 bonus non-Sega 16-bit games
• Small and lightweight retro gaming nostalgia in your pocket or on your keychain
• Easy Plug & Play into your TV with AV cable (included)
• Requires 1 x AAA battery (not included)
• 8 directional joystick and 4 button action controls
