Over at the Warcry network, Ellen_Ripley has a
page up
with screenshots from the final moments of Asheron's Call 2 which was
shut down at the end of last month. Even though I never played
the game it's hard to read the pages without feeling a slight sense the
loss of the gamers that played the game. I'm guessing we'll
probably see a few more of these virutal worlds being shut down over
the coming year as the market grows and evolves.
