When I was visiting the 3D Vision Live site
last night, I saw something a little odd. There was a YouTube tab at the top, which I never saw before.
Ever since YouTube starting touting 3D video, I was hoping to use NVIDIA's GeForce 3D Vision
setup to view videos, but I could never get it to work. I hit the tab yesterday it told me I had to upgrade my drivers to version 275.27 before it would work.
After installing the drivers and restarting my machine, sure enough I was able to select the NVIDIA 3D Vision option in YouTube and watch some videos. Now, not all videos work but there's a good amount on the 3D Vision Live website.
NVIDIA sent word this morning that YouTube is finally supported and you'll need said drivers as well as Firefox 4 and above to view it. I didn't test it in Chrome and I don't think IE has support for HTML5 video streaming in its current version, but don't quote me on it.
