More On: Data East Arcade Classics
If you used to haunt arcades "back in the day" then you might be pleasantly surprised by what Majesco has announced today.  Early in 2010, you'll be able to buy Data East Arcade Classics.  This is a Wii-exclusive that will retail for a budget price of $20.

Included on the disk will be BurgerTime and its sequel Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory, Caveman, Burnin' Rubber and more.  What makes it even better is that it's not just a repackaging of classic titles.  Majesco tells us that all 15 games will support single player, 2-player head-to-head, or 2-player co-op play.  You'll be able to control the games using a variety of Wii-compatible controllers.

Read the full release for some more titles and details.  You can bet more information on Data East Arcade Classics will be forthcoming.

Side note: I noticed in the press release that shares of Majesco stock are traded on Nasdaq.  Can you guess what symbol they have?  MJCO? No, COOL.  That's awesome.
