New lightsaber and blaster add-on for Wii Remotes

by: Chad -
Remember the Darth Vader Wii Sensor Bar Holder?  The company is back with two more add-ons for your Wii and Star Wars addiction.  This time it's a Clone Trooper Blaster and a Light-Up Lightsaber, which will sell for $24.99 and $34.99 respectively.  See pictures below.  These are being released in time for the launch of Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes.

My initial thoughts: the lightsaber looks neat but requires two batteries, which means it will take 4 batteries for one Wii Remote to get that bad boy working.  Do they have room for the Wii Motion Plus?  Does the lightsaber block the remote so that you can point at menus on screen?

Regardless, the lightsabers look cool even if it's just for bragging rights.  Check out more information in the full release.
