Here`s the first edition of Point of Purchase, our weekly look at the games that are coming out this week. This is the first edition so it`s a bit rough around the edges but let me know what you think in the comments. This week we talk about Bionic Commander Rearmed, Space Siege, and Madden 09.

I like the new feature. Preview with gameplay footage and down to earth commentary really help me decide if I think I'll like the game.

Plus, the humor was pretty good as usual (Joan Rivers, Jack Daniels and Obi-wan!) so that added to it.

Two thumbs up from me and I'll be sure to check back next week for a new episode. Now we just need the "Retro Roundup" to be in the same format. :o)

You hear that, Defunct Games? Time to get your retrograde gaming on with New Extra Human Life #1 Video All The Time! I absolutely agree with csmith on that request.

Well done, Chuck. The humor was a nice touch, and will help set Point of Purchase apart from other recap segments.

Thanks for the kind words but there's still a lot of room for improvement. Next week's show will hopefully be significantly better.

Nathan -- The name of the segment, Point of Purchase, is at the beginning of the, uh, segment. So I don't think there's anything for Sean to edit? STET! (That's a proofreading term for "it's fine, leave it alone," in case anyone thought I might be trying to create a new internet acronym.)

Ah, understood. I guess I'll go back and edit my earlier comment to you d'oh!

But seriously. *that name* you came up with, Nathan, is funny stuff. I just can't imagine what we'd use it for. Maybe you could come up with an equivalent to "Morgan's Minute" with that name, or something.

Oh, BTW, great new addition to teh GamingNexus, Chuck!

I think we could save the name for that other thing that's in the works ...

That's not a bad idea. Chuck appearing in the segment, I mean. Kind of like what Gerstmann used to do at Gamespot...oh wait.

I would file this under things that are very unlikely to happen...

Soooo...you'd *rather* have your only appearance in front of a camera be the Blondie "Call Me" video?

I'd, uh, not recommend leaving it at that :D
