Rockstar announced today that the release of Midnight Club: Los Angeles has been pushed back about a month from September 9th to October 7th. In addition, the PSP take on the game (Midnight Club: LA Remix) will also be releasing on the same day. Delays are common and usually inevitable in the game publishing industry, so moving it back one week isn`t such a big deal. I`m sure our crack reporting team that will be covering E3 will be able to ask the question and find out if there is anything sinister behind the delay.

Rockstar Games has their work cut out for them after Burnout Paradise. Hopefully they'll be able to bring something brand new now that Burnout has stolen their thunder (and their open-world racing gameplay). I liked what I saw at last year's PAX, but then again that was before playing Burnout Paradise. I'm also kind of sick of the Los Angeles locale, it's in far too many games (I actually bitched about it awhile back). Still, I'm super excited about this one. I'm also interested to see what the PSP is like. I know it's a brand new game (even if it is set in the same location), but the last Midnight Club game on PSP was a disaster.
