It looks like Nintendo is grafting onto the launch of Ninja Gaiden II this week as they are releasing Ninja Combat (900 points). The two WiiWare games are Ubisoft`s Protöthea and Toki Tori which will both set you back 1,000 Wii points. Be sure to check back on Friday for Cyril`s take on Ninja Combat.
Oh my, Ninja Combat??? Oy. I guess Nintendo must be hoping that Ninja Gaiden II will be really bad, because Ninja Combat is absolutely abysmal. If Nintendo had planned a little better they could have used this Xbox 360 release as a way to promote Ninja Gaiden I, II and III on the Virtual Console. See, that would have made sense. That's them using their brains to get some free publicity. But instead they gave us Ninja Combat, one of the worst ninja games. Stupid, stupid Nintendo.
But hey, I'm not going to be stupid. If you're excited about Ninja Gaiden II and don't want to play Ninja Combat, then I suggest you check out
CYRIL READS NINJA GAIDEN! We're up to episode 9, with only four more episodes to go. It's fun, fun stuff. Check it out.
By the way, I'm not above doing some self promotion. But you have to admit, at least I made sure it was on topic.
