Seems there`s some changes going around Age of Conan and not one that pleases the folks there. Punky Brewster was played by an actress named Soleil Moon Frye. Puberty hit hard on Soleil and at the age of 16 she had to have surgery to reduce the size of her chest. Details can be found here if you really want to know the size she was and what she changed to. In any case, it seems the same thing is happening to female characters in Age of Conan as depicted by this forum post with before and after pictures. Doesn`t those things get in the way of sword swinging in the before picture? I mean at least in the after picture, she won`t have back problems and can probably be more agile with the weapon. The asset reduction has caused some grief with the players through and some over reactions. Even so, it`s not cool for a company to mess with a paying customer`s character appearance. Do it to the NPCs if you want to nerf the lady berries .

On one hand I agree with you, these are paying customers and if the customer was able to make enormous breasted characters then they should be able to keep the enormous breasts. If this was a free online game I don't think it would matter much, but it does seem strange/wrong to mess with people who are paying a monthly fee.
On the other hand, does the size of ones breast actually make any difference at all? Let's face it, it's not women who are giving their characters double-D breasts. This is men, or more specifically, boys. And no offense to the kids in the audience, but I really could care less of some 14 year old kid can't make his avatar look like Pamela Anderson. Those things aren't going to help him/her in battle, if anything they'll hinder her thrust and agility. See, I'm already arousing the 14 year olds in the audience, so I shouldn't say any more.
But honestly, adult to adult, I worry about the generation that is actually turned on by large breasted fake women. Don't get me wrong, I'm as into big breasts as the next guy, but is it too much to ask for REAL breasts and not polygonal ones? We live in a world where pornography is literally emailed to you. Where was this when I was a kid?? Yet these losers aren't satisfied until they see the fake variety? Give me a break. It just goes to show that I'll never understand kids.
By the way, I think I may have inadvertently said too much about myself. If that's the case then ignore the ramblings of this fool.

When playing old FPS games, I prefer the females.. the flatter the chest the better. .Why? Harder to spot and hit :)

In fact, whenever I make a character in any game (adventure, skateboarding, action, puzzle, anything) I tend to make it a chick. There is truth to the theory that if you're going to have to look at somebody's butt for 12 hours it might as well be a hot chick. But my reasoning has nothing to do with being attracted to the women I make (in the case of Oblivion I had the exact opposite reaction), instead it's because women have better and more interesting clothes. Face it, it's true. Men generally get boring suits, shits, and pants. Whereas women generally have TONS of different things to put on. They are just more interesting to customize, so I tend to stick with my female characters. However, the difference is that I'm not threatening to never play the game again if my female character goes from a double-D cup to a B cup. The moment you do that you let everybody know that you've crossed the line into Incredibly Creepy Woods (and trust me, that's a scary place).

True.. it seems the girls have more options in the clothing department. It's the Barbie syndrome I guess. GI Joes and Thundercats had one outfit unlike Barbie.. Although She-Ra only had two if I remember.. In any case, my wife always asks why do you pick the woman in any game we play. Then I give her the logic and she still shakes her head.
