Chris Priestly, Community Coordinator over at Bioware`s Mass Effect Community forums announced the first DLC for the game. On March 10th at 5:00 a.m. EST, Bring Down the Sky DLC will hit Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points. This DLC includes approximately 90 more minutes of game play and one achievement for 50 Gamerscore points. This will also be the first of many (possibly five at 50 GS points a pop to get to 250?) Check out the whole post with all the details on the DLC after the jump:

Hey, it was either endless elevators, or endless load screens. At least you get to enjoy a news broadcast or some dialogue snippet from your companions during the ride.

Having said that, man there's a lot of elevators populating the future.

Isn't this the first time the Batarians make an appearance in the game? They played a big role in the book but I've yet to run across them in the game.

I believe you're right. I think Batarians are the race with two sets of eyes (four eyes total) -- an inner and an outer set on the face -- that biocular (binocular?) species find disconcerting, unable to know which set of eyes to focus on during conversation. And that the Batarians take advantage of biocular races' discomfort.

They were sideline-introduced in the game's encyclopedia too, I think.
