Wii and DS continue to demolish the sales charts, despite hardcore gamers calling foul and an unsettling focus on casual games. Nintendo says their sales are strong even in the face of "industry pricing shifts." Pricing shifts? What are they getting at? Wii and DS are still the cheapest consoles on the market, so pricing shifts really don`t threaten them at all. It`s like saying, "I`m still alive inside my concrete bunker, even after someone shot it with a beebee gun." Now, if the 360 core had been dropped down to $250, then I think Nintendo would have some serious nail biting to do.
