It looks like we`re seeing the first crack as Universal has dropped support for Blu-Ray. While I`m not sure this is anything official it looks like Sony is starting to lose ground to HD-DVD. Time will tell how this works out but this is certainly not good news for Sony.

-Update- Actually, Universal never did support Blu-Ray as they were solely with HD DVD. You can see the initial list of Blu-Ray supporters here and Universal Studios is indeed missing. - John
