More On: Humble FrozenByte Bundle
The idea behind the Huble FrozenByte Bundle is pretty cool--pack five indie games together, let customers pay whatever they want for them (even a single cent), and then donate the proceeds to Child's Play. Some might accuse FrozenByte of unrealistic idealism, but the bundle has payed off, so to speak. In its first two days of availability the bundle has raised over $500,000 and sold 100,000 units, which means not everyone is just dropping a single penny on it. If you're feeling generous, pick up the bundle. It has some great indie titles like Jack Claw, Trine and Shadowgrounds, and you'll be helping the venerable Child's Play charity, which is always a good idea.

In the meantime, here's some music from Trine.

Humble Frozenbyte Bundle has raised approximately 100,000 units and $500,000 within the first 48 hours!

This is all thanks to the very supportive communities around the world and also all the media outlets. So on behalf of Frozenbyte, Humble Bundle, Child's Play and EFF I would like to express our sincerest gratitude.

As a special bonus milestone we are releasing 3 songs from the upcoming Trine 2 soundtrack to everyone who has bought the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle.

We've put the main theme from Trine 2 as a free stream available here:
http://soundcloud.com/aritunes/ari-pulkkinen-trine-2-main

The Trine 2 soundtrack is again going to be composed by Ari Pulkkinen, whose most recent work include Angry Birds (for Rovio) and Outland (for Housemarque), in addition to all the soundtracks to Trine, Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds Survivor which are included in the bundle.

The bundle is still live for 12 more days at

Other bundle updates:

- Jack Claw now supports keyboard & mouse! This brings the game available to a lot more people and doesn't require the Xbox 360 Controller anymore (which is still recommended but not mandatory). The new version is available from the bundle download page.

- Jack Claw Mac/Linux ports are progressing, hopefully release is soon!

- We are also working on a new FAQ to answer some frequent questions (incl. technical). It will go live at http://www.frozenbyte.com/help_humble/ (there's already a barebones version but it will get better shortly)

- There seems to be a bit of a fight going on on the top contributors list... one upping by $0.01 is awesome. ;) Notch and Garry are great. :)

We hope to have a few more updates along the way. Right now we're busy with technical support but things are going well, and hopefully soon we'll focus on some small extras.
