Special offers becoming available for Goldeneye Reloaded

In what is becoming a standard move by most retailers who get certain exclusivity deals with developers, Gamestop, Amazon, and Best Buy have all locked down their own unique deals for those who wish to pre-order the upcoming title Goldeneye 007: Reloaded from Activision.  While all of these deals that are listed below gives gamers a new mode right out of the gate, this is starting to get a little ridiculous as retailers attempt to garner higher sales by having these deals available.  Whatever happened to actually giving gamers the full game out of the box?  Or, an even more original idea, actually making gamers work for these extra modes by playing through the single-player modes?

I will hopefully get a few answers to these questions and many others as I cover a hands-on event for this upcoming title in San Francisco early next week!

Starting today, fans can pre-order GoldenEye 007: Reloaded at GameStop to receive a unique exclusive*code to unlock the Paintball Mode Modifier in Split-screen and Online private multiplayer matches.  This fan-favorite modifier causes bullets to leave behind paint splats on walls and surfaces all across the map.  Additionally, they'll receive early access into the Classic Conflict Mode in Online public and private multiplayer modes.  Another huge fan-favorite, this mode is every man for himself playing as the Classic Bond characters, each with unique abilities.  For more info, players can visithttp://www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=16k-goldeneye+reloaded.

Last but not least, fans who purchase the game at Best Buy will receive a code to unlock both the Tag Mode and Invisibility Mode for Split-screen and Online private multiplayer matches.  Tag Mode takes the classic playground game and gives it a twist.  The player who is "tagged" cannot eliminate an opponent until they tag someone else, creating fast, frenetic multiplayer action where players are sprinting at each other from all angles.  Invisibility Mode allows each player to become invisible for a set period of time.  Gamers can run right up to their opponents without being seen to catch them off guard with a surprise attack in the heat of battle!  For more info, visit http://tinyurl.com/3h9zkjh.
