Sorry Capcom, Mad Catz likes THQ too

More On: WWE All Stars
It looks as if Capcom is not the only developer that Mad Catz is “tied” up with for official fightsticks and controllers. Mad Catz and THQ have announced a partnerships to produce officially licensed FightStick and FightPads with the WWE license.

The agreement will bring forth an entire line of WWE-themed products for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the Nintendo Wii in conjunction with THQ’s WWE All Stars video game. The game, which releases sometime in 2011, takes the WWE franchise in a different direction than the traditional simulation style that the Smackdown vs. Raw series is known for; WWE All Stars is an over the top, arcade-style fighting game featuring current WWE stars and classic WWE Legends. The game, which was revealed at last year’s E3 plays out more like a fighting game than a simulator.

Considering how many different covers that THQ created for the upcoming Smackdown vs Raw 2011, I would imagine that there are going to be a ton of controller options, all featuring your favorite WWE superstars. You can read the official press release regarding the new partnership agreement after the jump.
