A little while back,
we reported that Electronic Arts was preparing to take down a rather extensive list of online servers for many of their
older games. Another casualty has been added to the list of EA servers being taken off line and that is the reel / movie servers for the original
Skate game.
Skate's Reel service, which allowed users to upload and share movies saved in game, both within the actual game and through the official website, will go offline effective March 1, 2010. EA posted the news to the Reel
website earlier today.
