My oh my, what a difference a week makes... after last week’s lackluster lineup (quantity-wise) things are taking off at break-neck speed this week. The abundance of releases on tap over the next few days brings a little bit of everything for fans of all genres. Check it out:

  • Mario Sports Mix for Nintendo Wii- Mario is putting his tennis shoes back on in a 4-sport collection for Nintendo’s Wii developed by Square Enix. This time around, you have the ability to take to the basketball court, dodgeball court, hockey rink, and volleyball court. Gamers should also know that online multiplayer is included this time around

  • Explodemon for PlayStation Network- Fast-paced, explosive action from Curve Studios comes in the form of Explodemon, a 2.5D action platformer bringing old school gaming back to the masses.
  • Hyperdimension Neptunia for PlayStation 3- NIS America's insane crossover featuring cameos from numerous Japanese developers.
  • Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Rumble for Nintendo DS- More Naruto, need I say more?
  • Plants vs. Zombies for PlayStation Network- PopCap just doesn’t stop... and the plants (and zombies just keep on spreading. The latest release brings the addictive puzzle game to the PlayStation Network for endless butter-flinging shenanigans.
  • Stacking for PlayStation Network (on Xbox Live Arcade on 2/9/2011)- Who doesn’t like to play with dolls, especially Russian stacking dolls? Tim Schafer and the Double Fine crew bring an odd world to life in this hilarious adventure game. Remember, this title will be free for PlayStation Plus members this week.
  • Tales from Space: About a Blob for PlayStation Network- DrinkBox Studios monster-movie-inspired platformer about a race of alien blobs seeking to satisfy their appetite on an Earth-like planet.
  • Test Drive Unlimited 2 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC-Atari is looking to transform the driving / racing genre by adding in a bit of progression and customization into the beloved Test Drive series.
