More On: The Cursed Crusade
13 new screenshots were released today by Altus for their upcoming PS3 and Xbox 360 2-player co-op action-adventure, The Cursed Crusade.

The new screens show the two protagonists, Denz and Esteban fighting for their lives.  Fans can expect the melee combat to be visceral, violent, and raw (oh, my).  You'll be able to see for yourself when the game comes out this summer.  If other games' successes are any indication, gamers really seem to enjoy getting they sword on any time Templars are involved and this game seems to have Templars to spare.

For those who don't know, The Cursed Crusade is set during the turmoil of the 4th Crusade.  Its two protagonists are Denz, one of the aforementioned Templars, and Esteban, who is a mercenary (and roguish - for the ladies, perhaps?).  Even though they have different backgrounds they'll fight together against a curse that threatens to consume their very souls.

It even comes with split-screen co-op (along with the usual online version).  Yay!

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- MARCH 30, 2011 -- Atlus U.S.A., Inc. today released new screenshots for The Cursed Crusade, their upcoming 2-player cooperative action-adventure for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PC.

This new asset release marks the first new content in some time as development continues in earnest on The Cursed Crusade. As work progresses, more and more of the game's extensively researched locales, numerous weapons and fighting combinations, and the unique qualities of the Templar's Curse become apparent. The newly released screens show the game's protagonists, Denz and Esteban, embroiled in visceral clashes of steel that hint at the violent, raw melee combat action-adventure fans can expect when they join the battle by picking up their copy of The Cursed Crusade's later this year.

The Cursed Crusade is currently scheduled to release in Summer 2011 for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PC.
