Mass Effect 3 has a trick up its sleeve

More On: Mass Effect 3
I think I can speak for many Mass Effect fans when I say that an individually crafted Femshep was long overdue, both as a playable character and a marketing tool.  As such, many were probably thrilled to learn that the Collector's Edition would proudly feature Femshep on its cover.

Well now, according to gameinformer.com, you won't need to purchase the Collector's Edition to get the Femshep cover.  How is that possible, you ask?  It's possible because, as you'll see in the following Mass Effect 3 unboxing video, the standard Xbox 360 version comes with a reversible cover.  On one side is Manshep, and on the other side is Femshep.

Niiiiiiice!

And don't worry, even though it only shows the Xbox 360 version, the PS3 and PC versions come with reversible covers as well.

Also newly revealed (to me at least) is that Xbox 360 version Mass Effect 3 will, once again, occupy two discs.  I was mildly afraid they'd shoehorn it onto one disc, and compromise it, in the process.

Mass Effect 3 arrives on March 6th.
