More On: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
What happens when you combine the literary prowess of R.A. Salvatore, the game design chops of Morrowind and Oblivion designer Ken Rolston, and the artistic style of Todd McFarlane? You get Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. A new action RPG epic from EA and 38 Studios, the game is on track for a 2012 release and already the production values look strong. With Salvatore onboard the story will probably be well-nuanced, and with McFarlane as visual designer Reckoning certainly doesn't lack for the red stuff. I'm also interested to see what Rolston brings to the table--I know Elder Scrolls fans are sharply divided on whether Morrowind or Oblivion was the better game, so maybe Rolston will combine some of his concepts in this game.
