Good news: MW2 Stimulus Package is out. Bad news: kind of broken - (Updated)

by: Chuck -
More On: Xbox Live Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
The Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus package is now available on Xbox Live but you might want to hold off on buying it right now as Microsoft has sent out word that there are some issues with the download right now.

I would guess that the issue will be worked out by early afternoon but this is just another in the line of problems we've seen with downloadable content.  There's a part of me that wonders if the DLC isn't getting as rigorously tested as the final game (although MW2 has had it's own share of issues) or if these are just issues with the delivery mechanism.  Either way we'll update this story when it's clear for you to waste spend your money on the new map pack.

Update (Chuck) - it's now online and working/added press release

Update (John) - Nope, not working again. It's off and on. Looks like we're in for a day full of Xbox Live issues.
