More On: Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars
What is SARPBC, you ask?  None other than the racing game called Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.  Now you see why I used the acronym.

SARPBC has been out for one year and the developer, Psyonix Inc, wants everyone to celebrate.  That's why you'll be able to pick up the game for half off, $4.99 on the PSN, until October 29th.

For only $5 you'll be getting 25 single-player mini-games, 3 arenas, and 2 skins for each of the seven Battle-Cars.  There seems to be a lot of fun packed into this game, so check it out and pick it up at a discount before 10/29 if you like it.
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars Receives Limited Time Price Cut to $4.99

Half the Price, all the goal scorin' action

October 15, 2009 - San Diego, CA - Independent videogame developer, Psyonix, Inc. announced today that their flagship, self-published title, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (SARPBC) will be receiving a limited time price cut to $4.99 in celebration of October marking the title's first Birthday. The sale will run from October 15, 2009 through October 29, 2009 and is available for download on the PlayStation®Network on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

In addition to twenty five single-player mini-games, which also serve as a platform for users to learn the ins and outs of the game, SARPBC shipped with three Battle-Car arenas and two skins for each of the seven different battle-cars. For the last year, Psyonix has stood by their title and has nearly doubled the content by delivering constant gameplay-enhancing updates and free downloadable content in the form of three new arenas and 14 additional battle-car skins.

"October marks the one-year launch anniversary of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars -- our first self-published title -- and we feel like having a party," said Dave Hagewood, Director of Development for Psyonix. "So we decided to give back to PlayStation 3 owners by giving those who have been missing out on the fun some added incentive to join the Battle-Cars community."
