Kalypso Media has released new screenshots showcasing fierce ship battles from their upcoming 4X space simulation title Legends of Pegasus. The images nicely demonstrate the engine's ability to beautifully render the destruction of ships into various pieces of space derbies. Legends of Pegasus will include three races split into 12 playable factions, a universe populated with numerous civilizations, single-player and multiplayer modes, and the ability to design and customize ships. As a huge fan of the space and RTS combination, I've already begun drafting ship designs and my plan for complete universe domination.
Legends of Pegasus will be available in the second quarter of 2012 for Windows PC.
