Sega has officially announced Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Episode 2 for a 2012 release. Granted, we all knew that the game was coming but the first trailer has made its way online and cements the fact.
The new game, which is currently being planned for mobile, XBLA, and PSN releases will see the return of both Mecha Sonic and Tails. Could 2-player cooperative play be in the cards? Quite possibly...
